| Sustainability Reporting Options
Companies and organizations across the world are creating CSR and Sustainability reports in greater numbers. Along with this increase in reporting come questions of how to report, what to report, and to whom to report.
One thing is certain, there are a range of standards and options for any organization that wants to produce a CSR and/or Sustainability report. But what standard to use? The first place to start is to consider who is your audience, and then select the reporting standard best designed to reach that audience, or audiences.
We have looked at a number of existing standards and have mapped those reporting standard to the key audiences served by each standard. As the very nature of CSR and Sustainability reporting makes it almost impossible to create a single report designed to meet the needs of all stakeholders and consumers of the reports, reporting organizations need to select the standard or standards that will best support the reporting needs of their key target audiences.
